Brass
This flintlock pan primer is operated by a simple downward push into the pan of the lock. The primer will dispense approximately 3 grains of 4FG priming powder in the pan. The pan primer is made of brass with a stainless steel spring. A lanyard hole is provided in a nicely turned base. The priming mechanism is in a knurled, threaded housing that is removable for easy filling.
