This 2 day “hands” on muzzleloading rifle work shop starts 8:00 AM 4-25-2026. Participants are encouraged to bring their projects.
Topics include the following:
- Use of Scanners and 3d printing to produce castings
- English Flintlocks, Architecture and Finish – Synopsis of the NMLRA seminar.
- Hands on engraving opportunities, discussion of different styles of engraving, precious metal inlay and relief engraving.
- New parts and materials; stock finishes and artificial graining; fitting a hooked flintlock breech, custom tools.
Saturday brunch, lunch and BBQ dinner included in registration fee.

The West Coast Horn and Accoutrement Fair
Hosted by the Washington Historical Gunmakers’ Guild
April 30th, May 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, 2026
- Early arrival and set up available Thursday afternoon April 30th
- A Hands-on Class with local artisans on Friday and Saturday.
- Raffle and auction after dinner on Saturday evening.
Socialize, share ideas and learn new skills. Display your projects (new or old, that are completed or not). Make new friends and just have FUN!
Great facility with good tent camping, parking for self-contained RV’ s, trailers and cars.
Bring your cot and sleeping bag for indoor camping. Facility may be a little chilly so plan accordingly.
