These rifle cases are made of flannel-backed 12 oz. canvas. The opening is finished with 1″ binding. The soft flannel will not mar the finish of the gun. Canvas will breathe, thus decreasing the chance of the rusting process during storage, however, we still recommend inspecting stored guns monthly. Each case is made in generous proportions leaving enough fabric to fold over the butt of the gun and secure with the attached ties. Canvas Gun Case: Fits up to a 42″ barrel.
