This lock is copied from an original T. Gibbons lock on an original Hawken’s rifle. One of the best recreations of the late Hawken percussion lock. This model is suitable for use with a hooked breach setup. It has a stirrup-type mainspring and a fly in the tumbler. It is cut, which means the lock is cut for the Hawken style breech plug.
