For Octagon Barrels – Investment Cast
This is a wax cast steel underlug for a standard wedge. It is popularly used on Hawken and similar Plains rifles with an octagon barrel. The slot measures .480″ x .120″ and may be enlarged. The base measures .612″ wide. The dovetail is about .715″ long.
