Investment Cast
This Large machined investment cast Off Hand or Bench – Box Lock percussion action has a single non-adjustable trigger with half cock. The overall action body length, not including the barrel threads, is 4-3/8″ at the top and 3-15/16″ at the bottom. It measures 1-1/4″ top to bottom and tapers from 2″ at the front to 1-3/4″ at the back of the action. The through bolt threads for the butt stock are 1/4×20.
Threaded to accept a barrel that has 7/8×14 breech threads. The action is threaded to take a 5/16×24 nipple.
This action will work well with tapered 1-1/8″ up to 1-3/8″ barrels designed for off-hand or bench shooting.
