This .69 caliber Military pistol, circa 1840’s, possibly made for Swiss military use, has a tapered octagon to round 1-1/4″ to 13/16″ x 7″ smooth bore barrel fitted with a blade front sight. Belgium proof marks are stamped on the left side of the barrel. The bore is smooth, shiny without pitting. The European Walnut stock is sound and mounted with a mix of brass and steel furniture, including a butt cap fitted with a lanyard ring. The large half round faced military percussion lock is activated by a single trigger. Please Note: All components are stamped with an inspector’s proof mark.
