Flint
The Mountain rifle has been created to replicate the Samuel & Jacob Hawken of the 1840’s Fur Trade era. The Select Hardwood stock is mounted with a mix of browned steel and German Silver furniture, including a patchbox. As with the original Hawken, it has a hooked breech for easy take-down and an adjustable rear sight. The color case hardened flint lock, with a V-type main spring, is activated by double set triggers. Right hand, .50 caliber, 7/8″ x 32″ browned CeraKote barrel with 1:48 twist. Flint. 8lb 4oz.
