This 109 page hard bound book with a dust cover is an invaluable tool in researching the correct lines of the Kentucky rifle. These photos can be enlarged to use as patterns for building. It includes pictures of works by such famous makers as M. Fordney, John Shriver, Frederick Sell, J.P. Beck, Jacob Albright and many, many more. The photography was done by Bluford W. Muir, who also is responsible for the fine photography in Kindig’s “Thoughts on the Kentucky Rifle”. Included in this impressive collection of pictures are views of full length and both sides of the butt stock from the butt plate forward including the lock. Both rifles and pistols are presented plus some possible bags, powder horns and accouterments.
